DMC Allstars Cheer & Dance, based in Stirling Enterprise Park, have secured an invitation to compete at the Allstar World Cheerleading Championships — the largest and most prestigious cheerleading competition in the world.
The gym’s elite team, DMC Hex, earned their place after winning their first competition of the season, claiming the title of Grand Champions for the highest-scoring routine of the entire event. Their standout performance earned them a coveted bid to the World Championships.
Made up of 11 athletes aged 13–16 from Stirling and surrounding areas, DMC Hex will travel to Orlando, Florida in April 2027, where they will represent both their team and Scotland on the international stage. he athletes will compete at the Orange County Convention Center, facing top teams from across the globe.
Allstar cheerleading is a physically demanding, technically advanced sport that bears little resemblance to traditional sideline cheer. Athletes train year-round to perform a 2 minute 30 second routine combining high-level tumbling, gravity-defying stunts, synchronised jumps, fastpaced dance, and precise formations — all executed with exact timing, teamwork, and performance quality.
“This achievement marks the culmination of years of dedication from these athletes,” said Karen Martin, the team’s coach and owner of DMC Allstars. “I am immensely proud of them. They have shown incredible determination and team spirit in working towards their dream of going to Worlds, and I know they will continue to give everything as they prepare for the world stage.” The team is currently fundraising to upport their journey. Business sponsorship opportunities are available, offering advertising, community isibility, and additional partner benefits. The team is also seeking donations of prizes for upcoming fundraising activities.
