Stirling is celebrating as several local establishments have been recognised at the Food Awards Scotland 2024. The awards ceremony, held on Monday 26th August at the Double Tree by Hilton, showcased the city’s outstanding culinary talent.
Among the local winners STEP Tenant Fondly Iced, based at Stirling Enterprise Park, was honoured with the Artisan Bakery of the Year award. Becky, owner of Fondly Iced, shared her excitement: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award. It’s a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team, and we are grateful for the support we’ve received from the community.”
Stirling’s success at the awards doesn’t stop there. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following local winners:
Fondly Iced – Winner of Artisan Bakery of the Year. Known for their beautifully crafted and delicious baked goods, Fondly Iced’s dedication to quality has earned them this top recognition.
Mediterranèa – Winner of Best Mediterranean Establishment category. Their dedication to providing exceptional Mediterranean cuisine has clearly made an impact.
Karma Lake of Menteith – Winner of Hotel Restaurant of the Year (Central). This serene lakeside hotel continues to impress with its remarkable culinary offerings, providing a unique and memorable dining experience.
Old Gatehouse – Winner of Gastro Pub of the Year (South West). Known for its inviting atmosphere and great food, Old Gatehouse is a standout in the gastro-pub scene.
The Birds and Bees – Highly Commended in the Best Scottish Cuisine category. Their commitment to showcasing Scotland’s culinary heritage has earned them well-deserved recognition.
