STEP, the organisation dedicated to supporting businesses in Stirling, is thrilled to introduce Traci Titterington as the company’s new Rural Business Adviser. With her wealth of experience and passion for retail, nurturing people and delivering exceptional customer service, Traci is set to provide invaluable support to rural businesses in the Stirling region.
Traci’s appointment comes as a significant step towards strengthening STEP’s commitment to the rural business community. Drawing from her successful career as an Area Manager, Traci will leverage her expertise to help rural entrepreneurs thrive in the Stirling area. She will work closely with business owners, providing tailored advice, guidance and exploring opportunities to drive their success.
This role is made possible through funding from Stirling Council and the UK government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund, a central pillar of the government’s Levelling Up agenda, aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK. Rural businesses make up 47% of the business community in Stirling, showcasing the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit in the region. By investing in rural business support and expanding their team, STEP aims to further enhance the success and growth potential of these businesses.
Understanding the unique challenges faced by rural businesses, Traci will be joining STEP’s team of experienced Business Advisers who are already providing exceptional support to businesses in the Stirling region. Each Business Adviser brings a unique set of skills and expertise to the table, enabling them to provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs.
Collectively, Traci and the team of Business Advisers will provide a comprehensive range of support services to businesses across Stirling, including guidance on HR, recruitment, marketing, IT, and digital infrastructure. Their combined expertise, along with STEP’s commitment to the success of Stirling’s businesses, will fuel growth and innovation across both urban and rural areas in the region.
