STEP Teams Up with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Again!

This week, we once again joined forces with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) for another impactful training session. Building on the success of our previous training session, our commitment to community safety and supporting those who bravely serve our neighbourhood led to a SFRS’s Green Watch using the complexity and suitability of our building for their training needs. With its unique layout and design, STEP’s Stirling Enterprise Park again provided an ideal setting for the firefighters to train.

Laura, STEP’s Director of Property and Operations said “Understanding the importance of the vital training undertaken by the Fire Service, we were again glad to open our doors, not only to facilitate training but also to express gratitude for the tireless efforts of our local firefighters.”

During the training, firefighters navigated through the sub-divided unit layout, honing their abilities and ensuring they were prepared for any situation that might arise. However, in a stark reminder of the urgency of their work, they were abruptly called away to respond to a genuine emergency, highlighting the critical nature of their readiness at a moment’s notice.

Looking ahead, STEP remains committed to enhancing safety by incorporating lessons learned from the training into our existing processes. We eagerly anticipate future collaborations with the Fire Service, continuing to strengthen our partnership and further enhancing community safety.

Stay tuned for more updates on our ongoing efforts to build a safer and more resilient community together with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
