It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Margaret Brisley, who served as a valued member of STEP’s Board for over seven years, joining us in September 2017. Margaret was a dedicated leader and a passionate advocate for Stirling’s SME and business community. Her insights, compassion, and unwavering dedication enriched our organisation and have left a lasting impact on both STEP and the wider Stirling area.
David Miller, STEP’s Managing Director, shared, “Margaret’s dedication to Stirling was an inspiration to all of us. Her work was marked by integrity, wisdom, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of those around her. On a personal note, I have worked closely with Margaret over the last seven years, and her experience and guidance have left a profound mark on me. We are extremely grateful for her contributions, and she will be dearly missed.”
Kommie Yousef-Nejad, Chair of the STEP Board, added, “Margaret’s legacy is one of service and compassion. Her role on our Board was instrumental in shaping STEP’s direction and championing support for the SME and business community. Her loss will be felt across Stirling and beyond. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.”
Our thoughts are with Margaret’s loved ones during this difficult time. Her memory will live on in the work she championed and in the community she served so passionately.
