Forth Valley Food and Drink has teamed up with STEP to host a local producers’ ‘tasting tables’ showcase this spring.

The event, which takes place on Wednesday 27 March at Stirling Enterprise Park, will spotlight the region’s rich local larder, fostering new connections between local producers and industry professionals.

Stacey Spence, co-ordinator of Forth Valley Food and Drink, said: “We’re providing a platform for our members to showcase their passion and dedication to producing high-quality food and drink products.

“The event is tailor-made for industry professionals, whether you’re a chef, buyer, stockist or wholesaler looking to enhance your product lineup with locally sourced food and drink.”

Among the local producers to be featured at the event are Grace Chocolates, Stacey’s Designer Cakes, Collymoon Craft Gin, Golden Bottom Bakery, Foragers Foods, Upper Ballaird Farm Co-op, Ochil Fudge, Farrah’s Dairy Ltd, io Fibrewater and Stirling Coffee.

Jenn McArthur, Marketing and Business Development Director for STEP said: “Our partnership with Forth Valley Food and Drink underscores our commitment to supporting local food, drink and tourism businesses and showcasing the remarkable produce that our region has to offer.

“We’re offering the chance to engage with a diverse array of local food and drink suppliers, sample their products firsthand and maybe even cook up some exciting collaborations.

“Our exhibitors have got all sorts of artisanal treats for you to try, from handcrafted chocolates and cakes to artisan gin and gelato. It’s going to be a tasting journey you won’t forget!”

Forth Valley’s newest gin producer Nicola Finney, of Collymoon Craft, is looking forward sharing her award-winning blends with a wider audience: “Each sip of our gin is a testament to our passion for creating extraordinary spirits, and we can’t wait to share our family’s dedication to craftsmanship with local retailers, restaurants and hotels.”
