Launched earlier this year, the Binos Business Community is a newly formed, member-led network designed to strengthen collaboration among local businesses in the Stirling area. Facilitated through Stirling Albion FC, the initiative has quickly established itself as a growing platform for connection, knowledge-sharing and mutual support across the regional business landscape. Meeting on a monthly basis at the football club, the community brings together entrepreneurs, SMEs and established organisations from a range of sectors. The focus is on creating a practical environment where members can exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities for growth and partnership.
Unlike traditional business groups, the Binos Business Community is owned and shaped by its members, ensuring that its direction reflects the needs and priorities of those involved. Its founding aim is to act as a force for good within the local economy, encouraging collaboration over competition and fostering a supportive culture for business development. Early feedback from participants has highlighted the value of informal networking combined with structured discussion, helping businesses build meaningful relationships. As it continues to develop, the community is positioning itself as an important hub for local enterprise, strengthening ties between business, sport and the wider Stirling community.
STEP Chief Executive, David Miller, said: “I am delighted that STEP has joined the Binos Business Community Network (BBCN). This partnership gives us, as a group, the opportunity to discuss first-hand how businesses and brands can work with the local club, while also building valuable relationships with fellow businesses and members. Having only launched in February, the BBCN already has almost 40 members from the local business community, and the net meet will bring together over 60 businesses. Supporting businesses is at the heart of what STEP does, so this feels like a natural fit for us.”
