Cheers to 30 Years!

The Write People for Design celebrates 30 years in business.

Stirling’s longest running design agency, The Write People, celebrated an incredible thirty years in business recently.

Founded in 1988 by Lorraine and John Brownbill, the company is now owned by former employee, graphic designer Karen Nisbet, who took over the business in 2009. With a studio based in the Stirling Business Centre, the company offers design, print, web design, packaging, copywriting and marketing services to organisations and businesses across the Forth Valley and beyond. With some clients working with The Write People for decades, the company also continues to attract new work from a whole range of sectors, including education, food and drink, music industry, construction, catering equipment, local authorities and environmental agencies.

Karen and her team – graphic designers Susan Martin and Angela Innes – held a party to celebrate the big anniversary at the Stirling Highland Hotel.

After the event, owner Karen said:

“It’s an amazing achievement to celebrate 30 years in business. For me, it’s doubly exciting as next year also marks 10 years since I became owner of The Write People. I’d like to thank all our clients past and present for their support and custom over the years.

Our ongoing success has been built on the quality of our work and the relationships we have built with our clients. The business has gone from strength to strength, moving with the times to add web design and marketing support to the creative graphic design and print services we provide. With the business continuing to expand, I’m looking forward to many more exciting years ahead.”

For previous owners Lorraine and John, the anniversary was an emotional occasion. Lorraine said:

” John and I feel a real sense of pride that the business we founded 30 years ago is still going strong. We’re delighted that Karen and her team have been so successful!”
