We are committed to the health and wellbeing of our team, our tenants, our clients and to a sustainable Stirling. To this end, we have made some changes to reduce our waste and thought we would let you know what we are doing.
STEP MUGS AND GLASSES
We now provide ceramic mugs to all of our staff and in all of our meeting rooms removing the need to use disposable single-use cups for tea & coffee. We have also introduced glasses to our breakout area to be used as an alternative to disposable plastic cups.
STEP NAME BADGES
STEP has been the backbone of business events in Stirling for decades. In 2020 we will take a leap towards ensuring our events are sustainable by investing in STEP reusable name badges.
In an effort to reduce food waste, we now charge a small fee for events to decrease our no show rate. We have also introduced individual food orders for any free events to manage any waste. In 2020 we will continue to monitor this and work with the local food businesses that cater to our venue.
Vacant spaces can be a drain on the environment. We are aware that the world of work is changing which is why we are developing more flexible working spaces making use of already empty space.
