This May marks 15 years in business for Paul Saunders Marketing – a milestone that reflects not only one man’s dedication to creative storytelling, but also the strength of local connections nurtured over time.
Based in Drymen, Paul Saunders has become a go-to name for businesses across Central Scotland seeking high-quality web design, photography, video production, PR and marketing consultancy. But like many success stories, his began with a single conversation – and a little encouragement.
That came from STEP, Stirling’s business support organisation, where Paul first sought guidance back in 2009. “From day one, they were incredibly supportive,” he says. “Their advice gave me the confidence to take those early steps – and then things started to happen.”
Soon, Paul was attending seminars, connecting with other local entrepreneurs and landing his first projects. One of those relationships came full circle when he was asked to produce the photography and video for STEP’s own 40th anniversary celebrations in 2024.
Over the years, Paul has worked with a wide range of businesses – including Fraser C Robb, the Steamship Sir Walter Scott and Country Cycles – helping them to share their stories and grow their brands through powerful visuals and smart digital strategy.
“Strong relationships have been key,” Paul reflects. “Many of my longest-standing clients are local businesses I met through STEP or at community events. It’s that sense of collaboration and mutual support that’s helped my business not just survive, but thrive.”
Fifteen years on, Paul Saunders Marketing continues to evolve – but the focus remains the same: helping others to shine, while staying rooted in the community that helped him get started.
