2024 Business in the Community: Babes in the Wood
abes in the Wood Bishopbriggs, founded in 2013, responded to a local need for recycling children’s items, swiftly gaining traction. In 2018, Linda Barrack joined, enhancing its capabilities and leading to the launch of Babes in the Wood Stirling. The Stirling branch quickly became a community hub, offering affordable children’s items while tackling child poverty.
Since its inception, Babes in the Wood Stirling has supported families in need through partnerships with local agencies. By providing free clothing, toys and baby equipment, it has eased the burden of poverty for many children. Its commitment to environmental sustainability and community inclusion has earned Babes in the Wood widespread recognition.
