Fund Training at STEP

Funding for Employers

Flexible Training Opportunities gives Scottish businesses with up to 100 employees the opportunity to apply for funding towards employee training costs. Enhancing employees’ skills will bring real benefits to employers, including improved productivity and a stronger more confident workforce.

Funding for Individuals

Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs) are for people who are 16 or over and living in Scotland and are for individuals who will benefit most from this support. You can apply for an ILA if do not have a degree or above, are not undertaking any secondary, further or higher education, training through the Employability Fund * or Modern Apprenticeship, or participating on the Community Jobs Scotland programme.

What next?

Contact the STEP Training Team to find out which courses are eligible for funding. We can also provide support in filling out your application.
