Health and Safety Policy
The workshop is suitable for individuals in small businesses and voluntary organisations who have responsibility for health and safety in their workplace, e.g. Employers and Managers.
Workshop Aim: To ensure that workshop delegates are aware and that they understand the statutory requirements in relation to formulating a Health and safety Policy statement for their workplace. The focus is on the methodology of writing and implementing a Health and safety Policy statement. By the end of the workshop delegates will:
1. Have an understanding of the main requirements of the health and safety at work Act 1974.
2. Have an understanding of the basic principles to adopt when writing a HSPS
3. Have practised writing a HSPS during the toolbox

Course Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing. If you cannot attend the course please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Cancellations that are made less than 2 weeks before the event may not be subject to a refund. However, an alternative date may be offered – subject to availability.
Failure to attend the course on the day will be treated as a late cancellation and therefore no refund will be given.
STEP reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient bookings have been received. If this situation arises then delegates will be offered an alternative course date, or a full refund of the course fee.
