Let us start helping your business today

Help for your rural business

47% of Stirling’s businesses are located in rural areas.

It’s because of this we understand that you are faced with your own unique business challenges. That’s why we ensure that businesses like yours are kept informed, able to participate and benefit from existing support programmes available.

Your dedicated Rural Business Adviser has over 20 years experience working with rural businesses and knows just how your business differs from your urban counterparts.

Rural Business Clinics

Our monthly rural clinics offer you the opportunity to meet with our rural business advisor and IT specialist on a one to one basis.

FREE Business Gateway Rural Advice Clinics
These clinics run every month in Callander and Balforn. Pre-booking is essential. Contact STEP reception on: reception@stepscotland.co.uk or call: 01786 463416.

Rural Business Events

STEP also hosts regular rural roadshows across the region. Working partnership with other rural business support organisations including Visit Scotland, Zero Waste Scotland and The Great Trossachs Forrest and Invest in Stirling this is a great opportunity for rural businesses to learn about the initiatives which could benefit their businesses, discover what funding is available as well as giving them a chance to meet other rural businesses. We focus on the challenges facing rural businesses today as well as providing information on the wider support programmes available to all businesses.
